I got so scared backing down my ramps that I would back up the trailer every time I moved it and then drove down them going forward, where I felt I could see where I was going. That was over ten years ago, and now I just don't move my tractor anywhere, anymore.

Great pictures! How do you like the shuttle shift?

It works pretty well, could be a bit smoother in its operation, but overall I am satisfied with it and enjoy operating it.

Backing up hills (and ramps) and going forward when going down is safer in my opinion. I feel in better control.

Good lookin' Tractor and trailer. Not scared of ramps because I don't have a trailer. Why? Because the wife said the tractor is not leaving the property. Sigh!

Do you want to add reinforcement plates under the hooks now, or after they bend you bucket lip? I added a 2x2x1/4 inch angle under my bucket lip the full 84 inch span and added 3/8 inch plates on both sides of the thin Mahindra bucket.

But I added the angle after I bent my upper lip. Also, pulling heavy objects from one side of the bucket can tip the opposite rear wheel up off the ground. I have a receiver hitch on top of my bucket in the middle to move my gooseneck around. After tipping a wheel up pulling from the bucket side, I wrapped the chain around the receiver hitch and no tipping.

Also, lifting or pulling too much weight not on centerline can tweet a loader arm. Don't ask me how I know this.

The top of the bucket on my tractor is reinforced with heavy tubing from the factory. It is very stout and there is no need for additional reinforcement.
