I am absolutely excited. The bad news is after it warmed up outside today, I discovered the a/c compressor isn't kicking on. I hope it doesn't have to go back.

Congrats! I'm waiting on our 5083E. Should be in the end of April. It's our first new machine, I can't wait. Good luck with the compressor.

Update, the service department came out and found that the pressure switch is bad. They are getting the part now and replacing it. Should be good in an hour.

Well, the switch was replaced and no go. We look deeper to find that it doesn't have any R-134 in it. They want to pick it back up and work on it over the weekend. So now they have my 4120 and my 5083 and I have nothing? I am really not happy at the moment. I have a lot of work to do this weekend.

Too bad about the AC but at least the dealer is jumping right on it. Hope you can get it back right away. That is a nice tractor enjoy it.

Dealer just called. They are going to leave me with the 5083 this weekend to work and when they bring out my 4120 (backhoe being installed) on Monday, they will pick up the 5083 and take it back. All should be good.

I did discover one thing I never was able to do before, the lighting on the cab tractors is incredible. I took a late night stroll last night with the tractor and was blown away. You could actually perform almost any task at night with the lighting on that tractor. Beautiful!

I was amazed by that as well. I've got one pointed at the loader, one about 50" forward, one at the 3pt implement and one facing about 50' rearward. It could use one facing to each side, I think, though. Like you said, there is very little I can't do with this tractor at night that I can do during the day. It helps a lot during the short days of winter.
