Just took delivery of new 3515ch!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to introduce myself here in the Branson section of the forums, I just took the plunge and bought a new Branson 3515 hydrostatic cab model!

Full details:

3515ch (Loving the A/C!)
Mid PTO
LED front light bar
Turf tires
BL 150C loader
Factory 3rd function (diverter valve?)
2 sets of rear remotes

Already picked up a Land Pride SGC0660 grapple, going to be getting a set of forks and a Bercomac front mount 60" snowblower in the fall. Already ordered hydraulic top and side links since I have the rear remotes already but they won't be arriving for another week or so.

My property is 10 acres with a lot of open field (will be doing some mowing a few times a year with a brush hog). The property is is surrounded with some tree lines as well to keep maintained. I have a bunch of large piles of brush to deal with from when a lot it was cleared as well as a bunch of small boulders to deal with.

Haven't had too much chance to use her that much yet other than fixing the washouts on my driveway (already have a box blade, 5' I believe) but so far I am loving it!

I attached the grapple and it all seems to function great but I haven't had a chance to use it yet as the yard is far too wet from all the rain, hopefully it dries up soon.

Look forward to hanging around this section of the forum now!

I'm interested in your front mounted snow blower. Are you going to run it off a rear power pack? Or do you have a mid-PTO?

It has a mid pto, though honestly haven't spent enough time to know how that even works yet.

I did verify it has the pto on the underside at least!

Unfortunately no idea when the blower will be here but I know it won't be until at least the fall with everything going on.

This is the snowblower I'm getting. They make them for the 15 series and smaller it seems.

Nice. Okay, mid PTO makes sense. Sadly I don't have one of those, so my only option for a front blower is a power pack running off the rear PTO.

Thanks! I see you have a cabbed 15 series also, how have you been liking it?

Does your have a mid-pto on it? If so, is it just turn on when the back pto is turned on or can it be done independently?

Anything I should be looking out for or any mods you have done you would recommend?

So far it has been really nice. It fits my needs perfectly.

I do not have the mid PTO so can't help you there.

Mods I have done is first replaced the DPF with a muffler. Mainly because I need the a/c so when I will let it idle more than most folks depending on what I am doing. Not saying you should remove yours.

Second I added solenoid valves to the rear remotes to give me a kind of float for my flail mower.

Third is I relocated the SMV sign from the fender to the back glass. This is because I kept hanging it on things.

And I think last is I added a slot for the 3pt lever so I could put a stop on to set the height of the BushHog and flail.

I have thought about moving the cab back a inch or so to create more clearance for the tires but that one is way on the back burner.

The slot for the 3 point hitch lever stop is definitely something I was thinking of doing, was surprised it didn't have something there already honestly! Probably my only real complaint so far.

Do you have any more information or pictures you could share on how you did that?
