Just tried out a 7' 8.5" (235cm) mower

My buddy that purchased my old ym2000 after I got the Ym336D, and he bought a Del Morino xrm235 finish mower (rear discharge). He thought it was a 6' mower when he went to get it. It needed 2 pulleys fixed and I just finished that. I mowed with it today - That is one big mower. It was nothing for my tractor though. I had mowed thru 1' tall wet grass too. I though these things would drag the tractor down, am I wrong about this?

I do think it is a long shot that it will work on his YM2000. Although he has pretty flat even ground and mows every week.

I will take a pic of it on the back of the 2000 and post it.

Yep, I agree. If it does not work for him maybe I can get him to sell it to me for what he paid.

That would be $325 plus about $50 to fix it.

Grand total of $375 - looks rough but works great.

Not bad for a 93" finish mower

Just had this Pic out 550.00$ 4 Yrs. ago 5o 0f it was for him to bring it to me. I was still waiting on my trailer and we didn't want to wrestle it up into a pickup.That is what a JD dealer was going to give him for it on trade in so thats what he sold it for. Extra set of Blades and only had to replace the belt that had a bad spot in it. Deals are out there just have to be there when they come up.
