Yesterday I hooked up to a tiller and went to engage the pto... the lever moved with some difficulty, I assumed it was just dirted up from not using it for a year. But when I let the pto clutch down to start it nothing happened. I fiddled with the levers, the engage feels out of wack but the clutch seems normal. Any way I decided to park in the barn so I could work on whatever was wrong and when I started to move the tractor the pto turned....matching ground speed. In reverse it went backward....
Does anyone know how to get this thing out of ground speed and back into 540 without a trip to the dealer and more scratch than I have?
