K&M mechanical seat upgrade on MX5200

Finally decided to upgrade the seat on the new MX. Back was taking a beating and taking days to recover after any extended amount of time on the tractor. If you are contemplating a seat upgrade, quit procrastinating and do it. The difference in ride and comfort are night and day, your back will thank you. A few hundred bucks is cheaper than a chiropractor or surgery any day! Took almost 2 hours for the install, but there was an issue with the mounting plate not aligning correctly. Instead of returning I decided to just drill another hole since only 1 hole was off. Do not hesitate to ask questions if you need, very simple and you will not regret the change, just regret not doing it sooner!!!

Congratulations on this upgrade. I recently put one on my Deere z930 for the same reason and what a difference in comfort it has made!! I was worried the limited travel wouldn't really provide a noticable difference or if the springs would provide enough compression damping for 200+ lbs operator. I am well pleased on both accounts and would recommend this upgrade to anyone seeking more comfort!
