Kabota 2230 tires dry rot

Does anyone know if Kabota AG tires dry rot? Or is it because of the thickness that they are not susceptible?
In other words how do I know when buying tires if they have been around too long?

I can only speak from experience. I had my previous tractor for 27 years and the tires showed no problems with splitting, separation of plies or anything else. I attribute this to the tractor being parked in my carport - out of the sun - when not in use. I traded the tractor in on my current one and it's still running on the original tires.

The brand of tractor and actually the brand of agricultural tire probably has little to do with their condition. Get somebody that's "in the business" to take a look and have them give you an evaluation.

I had all the tires replaced on my new Kubota in the first year I had it. One day I was servicing it and noticed they were all cracking on the sidewalls. So I contacted Carlisle (my tires are the Titan Trac Loader brand) and they sent me 4 new tires. They were awesome to deal with.
She also sent me this info about date codes:

When purchasing Cars, Trucks, Tractors anything with tires. You will have a date code, the date code tells the story. Weather cracking does come from tires just sitting in one area for a period of time. You can always request for your tires to be change before purchasing the unit. Example how date code work if you have date code with C4 THAT LOCATION. 10 HOW MANY WEEKS 15 WILL BE YEAR? IT WILL APPEAR ON YOUR TIRE AS C4 1015

I have a 2006 JD3203 850 hours with front tires 25x8.50-14 cracking in between the lugs . Was thinking time for new ?? Rear tires look good

Cub 7274 bought new in 1995 1340 hrs still the original Good Years on it but they are starting to show some wear on the fronts
