KABOTA B6000 W/12SPINES

I have a Kabota B6000 with 12 spines pto and I bought a bush hog with 6 spines.I have gone to a kobota dealer and he said that I have a rouge model.

I have been trying to get an adapter to make this work. I have 15 acres to mow. If you have a site that I can go to, so I may purchase this item. You're my only hope. Thank you, Cress

Yours even turns backwards. Two things that you have to overcome.

I see you are new here, Welcome to a usually fun place.

Like was stated you probably have a reverse running pto. Check this link from about a year ago... http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/parts-repairs/121394-just-bought-power-take-off.html
It suggests you may have a 10 spline. Anyway there are maybe reverser's available for your pto. KennyV.

I believe that the gearbox in the attached pictures is what you need. I'm not completely sure of my facts, but I believe that my reverser in the pictures is a factory Kubota part. There was also another common PTO reverser for the B6000 made by a company called Hub City. They appear to have sold for about $500 until they stopped making them in the 80's. Used ones I've seen recently sell for $7-800.

The alternative to finding a PTO reverser is to find implements that were designed specifically for the B6000.

I just picked up this little B6000E. Were it not for the reverser, I probably wouldn't have bought it.
