Kabota BX2750B Fr. mount snowblower

My BX2750B snowblower is equipped with the electric auger motor. It started skipping after two snow seasons. Took it apart and cleaned armature and checked brushes-over half worn. Called Kabota and told will have to order new motor $300.(Kabota prices too high on all parts) I've been advised Kabota buys that motor from GM and with correct make model and year I can replace for half the cost even though Kabota won't have their name on it. I can go with manual but sure hope someone knows something about my problem. Maybe bring to electric shop and see if they can rebuild! Anyone have an answer?Thank you.

You mean the chute rotator I think?

A couple of the folks have made
mounts for linear electric motors.

It may be worth your while to find
a motor rewinding shop and ask them
how much it would cost to rewind but I
would also check the Kubota owning operating
board as this has been an issue with
some of the blowers and it has been solved by
using the spout motor for the rotation I THINK anyway
but check the owning operating board first.
