Have you ever had kale soup?
The wife makes it a few times a month. She strips the kale off the stems and boils it. Then she takes some chicken stock, adds some garlic, a little cream, olive oil, a little of the kale water used to boil the kale, some salt and pepper and the kale.
Sometimes she put sliced up hard boiled eggs on top (very pleasing to the eye) and sometimes she puts veal meatballs in it (very pleasing to the belly).
It's delicious, full of folic acid, calcium, vitamin c....
