Kama TS 254c fluid pressures&relief valve locations

Just picked up an 05 Kama 25hp. The koyoti loader does not have enough force to pic the tractor off the ground. The loader and rear hydro's operate at the same speed, slow. My first guess is the filters and screens. Second is the quick connects need cleaning,
My question is, were are the pressure relief valves located throughout the machine. I'd like to inspect and adjust the pressure up a little once i change out all the old oil's and fluids.
I have a parts catalog but cannot locate them for the life of me. Basically, if anyone has a hydraulic schematic with working pressures available, that would be a big help

If such a schematic exists, I've never run across one. But below is the pressure relief valve in the main sump (for the rear lift and probably the loader). The steering relief valve is immediately in front of the engine driven pump. And I expect your relief valve(s) is/are in the controller(s).

The loader on my TaiShan is supplied by the PTO pump, which doesn't generate enough pressure at idle to lift the front end. Make sure the fluid level is adequate, then try again with the throttle set at around 1000 rpm.

Chip at ARTRAC used to have 80 micron brass mesh (to replace what's on your suction screen). Steering filters too. If he's out of the mesh, I still have a good supply myself.

well the loader pressure relief valve should be on the loader valve near where the inlet hose is connected to the valve body.

thanks for the info. I'm assuming you can shim the springs in the relief valves for a higher pressure if needed? (guessing the relief valves an internal one and not easily accessed or cleaned)
The system visually looks pretty simple from what i can visually see. Just looking for all the adjustments and tweak options before i tear into her. Any other issues or suggestions for the hydraulic system would be appreciated.going to be putting a hoe on it and would like the system operating rite before doing this

I don't know what control valve. Is used on your loader, but it probably has a bolt and locknut for adjustment. Just get a gauge to thread into one of the working ports and send fluid to that port with it's control lever to check the relief pressure. Put the hose disconnected from the port into a bucket incase you move tbe lever the wrong way The adjustment may be under a cap or cover.

There is probably another relief back on the 3ph control valve. Not familliar with yours, but if it is like my Jinma, that one is a shimmed spring affair. If so it is probably under a threaded plug. On mine it is a square headed pipe plug, the only one on the valve. Underneath it is a spring and stack of washers. On my tractor I have an aux output with a quick connect, that I can send fluid to from the 3PH valve. So checking that releif pressure on mine means putting a QC on the gauge, plugging it into that port and sending fluid to that port.

Your description of both loader and 3ph being weak indicates a weak/failed pump or pump supply flow issue rather than two separate relief valves being out of wack... Does the pump make any noise when you work the loader or 3ph?

As mentioned before the hydro system is engine drive so its based on engine rpm. I find my Jinma does not make good hydro power until around 1,000 rpm or so.

What are you trying to accomplish? "A little" won't make a perceptible difference. A lot will put you and everyone around you in immediate danger of a blown hydraulic hose or a dropped load from operating equipment beyond design limitations.

You are really talking about 2 issues here. You mention that the 3 point and loader are slow, that is a flow ( GPM) issue. You also say that the loader is week ( won't lift the front of the tractor ). That is a pressure issue. Both symptoms may or may not be caused by the same problem. Increasing engine rpm will help the flow issue, it won't help the pressure issue.

On the TS254 the 3 point is powered by the pump at the rear of the tractor. This should also be the pump that is powering your loader. The typical hookup would be for the output of the rear pump to go to the loader valve, from the loader valve it would then go to the 3 point lift box. You should check that yours is plumbed that way.

It is my understanding that there were a few different sized pumps installed on these tractors. It would help if you could find a part number on the pump. It may just be too small to move the loader quickly.

On my TS254 there is a cylindrical housing on the left side of the liftbox. There is a strainer for the suction side of the pump in that housing. If it was plugged that would also cause low flow / slow operation. You have to drain the oil out of the liftbox before you can remove this strainer.

To troubleshoot the pressure issue you really need a pressure gauge.

You need a gage to set the relief pressures. Some of these were sent over with 306 pumps which are slow. we recommend a 314, any bigger and you create back pressure in the system that can result in the 3 points raising up by themselve if there is no weight on them.
A lot of pumps get damaged on these tractors by "dead heading" when a loader quick connect is removed and the pump is run. sometimes a new seal will stop the leak, but the pumps are never really the same again. First check is to clean the strainer. be sure the hyd oil is clean, not watered down sludge. then get a gage and see what pressure is being made. There are 2 PRV the first is on the loader joystick, the other is inside the lift box on the valve block.

thank you. I'm on it today. I think i have the 314 pump, however the stamped numbers are unreadable.
There is really no change in operation when raising or lowering rpm past 1000 so I'm guessing a flow issue.
Some were there's crud, i just have to find were.
