Well it finally arrived at our home, talk about feeling like an expecting parent. We looked at other tractors in our area (which is VERY limited) and really wasn't all that impressed with either the salesman, tractor, and especially the price (22K min.) After many conversations with the accountant (A.K.A. WIFE) she finally agreed that we'll either have to wait, look for used tractors which horrified me to no end or look out of state. Well we all know how most accountants rule the big purchases.
Well I must admit the accountant and thier ablilities to squeeze a dollars worth out of nickel paid off. I was reluctant to buy something from any dealer sight unseen, but didnt really have any other choice. So we ordered one of these little rascals from an outfit in Texas and hoped for the best. We got the demo model with a few hours on it already, Figured fine, if thier was a problem the dealer would have fixed it on the spot. Will he did throw in some other things in the deal to kinda sweeten the pot, that got the accountants attention right off the bat. Now its here I figure we really made out, for just under 12K we got the tractor, bush-hog, FEL, box blade. Being really new to the tractor scene I cant really talk from experience but we both feel we got alot of tractor for the money. We cant really test it out fully because our ranch (40 acres) is 5 hrs away and very remote. But just driving that thing to the side of the house I hit the tree with the FEL head on. being used to driving cars and trucks normally the car would just have stopped. engine stop and what-not. Let me tell you that engine didnt miss a beat it just purred like a kitten and boy let me tell you, those back tires got some bite to them, they didnt stop they just spun rock out from under them like nobodys business.
I knew from that point on I wouldn't be disapointed with this little tractor or the desicion to buy it sight unseen. The wife and I are totally happy with this import, not sorry at all.
Wish I had it up at our other place to really put it thru the paces, but it'll have to wait a few months first. But I dont expect I'll be disapointed at all.
