if you are talking to me i have the hydrostatic. too much shifting when you are moving a ton of chips and stuff in the vineyards and garden and also moving firewood. - backing up and forward and working bucket - i keep left on wheel and right hand works bucket - foot works the forward backward and brake as needed.

I have a 2016 Max 26XL 8spd shuttle, and I like it so far.
After an issue with a, well know problem, with a hydraulic line nothing else has gone wrong with it.
I have pulled multiple stumps with my BH.
Moved compost and dirt
Clear some saplings and debris
Transported heavy computer equipment (still waiting on EA my forks)
After adding a mech thumb I'm using my BH as a mini-grapple until my EA arrives.
I also did some backyard clearing for two of my neighbors.
Moved multiple 80lbs bags of concrete and in other instances Salt for my water softer.
-I move everything heavier than 80lb with the tractor.
The machine has done everything I asked to do without issues.
I already know it's limitations and what things I would want in the future.

The salesman called me and told me they would give me $9.500 for my tractor. I told him that I needed to get 10 five for my tractor and I would give him cash for the balance. He stated his boss didn’t want to go more than $9.500 and that if I wanted his tractor that would be the deal. I explained to him that his tractor was a 2016 model they got it in June 2016 and they have Not been able to sell it. The salesman stated that shuttles do not sell well at their dealership they sell primarily hydrostatic units and that he couldn’t understand why his boss didn’t want to make the deal with me. I asked him to check with Mahindra to see if there was any extra project money on the 2016 since it is almost 3 years old he called me back and said that the price is all he could do. It’s a shame we should have been able to make the deal why would you not make a deal with someone who has cash in hand. Oh well like I said from the start I didn’t have to do this it was a want not a need. Mark

Mark, yes I’m in DE. Actually only about 4 miles from Southern States. I bought my 2555 from them last spring. I spent about 6 months prior to purchasing doing research on 5 different brands, and kept coming back to Mahindra. I spoke with their salesman several times and he was very helpful with data. I tested a couple different Mahindra’s and finally decided on this one. I originally was buying a low hr used NH TC55DA from another dealer, but missed the deal by a day. Who were you dealing with at SS?
