Keep the truck or bushhog in the barn?

I keep our rotary mower outside during winter after cleaning the grass off the deck and placing a Clorox bottle over the drive shaft end.

I've even taken old 5g buckets and cut a notch in t hem for the pto shaft and laid them over the gearbox. depending on the brand cutter, this sometimes even covers the nut access hole as an added bonus.
