anyone one here have a picture of the circuit relief valve disassembly on a b30 hoe? i seem to have no power the the dipper cylinder under load, ie. when digging. all other circuits seem fine and the dipper powers OUT fine its just when i try to curl it in. the owners manual says to clean the circuit relief valve..... not real clear on directions tho....... anyone able to help me?? im not a hydraulics pro!! psssss its a b30F not a j

I don't have a Kelly hoe, but I have seen a few of these old classics.

All hoes have a main relief valve, and some have RVs in the work ports.
These latter RVs are "shock valves" that protect each circuit. You can
see if you have them on each work section of the control valve stack. Do
you have them?

If so, RVs are not too complicated inside; they consist of a spring, and
some washers, plus a piston or ball.

Since other circuits work OK, your main RV seems OK.

yeah i figured the main rv was fine because i have lots of digging power to all circuits just not the dipper power in circuit. power out is fine. im just nervous taking this apart because im not even sure which is the RELIEF valve on the setup. manual shows three of them. and i think theres one under the dipper circuit valve.dont wanna take it aparts and have parts go flying or something!!:confused2: lol

or how about a generic pic or diagram?????? i have searched the forums for hours and cant find any!
