There is nothing electrical to do with the fuel on his (your to the op) tractor. No control boards, solonoids, or modules.
These diesels throttle and on off is controlled solely by that throttle lever. Air is always wide open unlike a gas engine. Once this tractor is running it will stay running till you cut that fuel off which is controlled with your throttle lever.
Forget the key in this , there is no adjustment either. The key is just for your convenience to start the tractor from the seat. I can jump your tractor staning beside it crank it up and run it all day long. I just won't have warning or headlights.
