I can't seem to find the timer on the tractor. The only place I see anything similar looking is right, front by the regulator or on the firewall but neither has numbers on it like the Messicks numbers. Mine are both Nippondenso originals. For now I'll continue with the manual shut off.

You seeing the actual part number you can purchase many places at a fraction of the tractor parts number price. Not many relays, etc made for a specific application

I think that's where it's located.

The timer connector will have four wires,
Black - ground
Red - 12v always
Red w/white stripe - 12v in acc position
Black w/blue stripe - to stop solenoid

Have you performed this procedure from the WSM?

You guys are great.I see now that it is the unit on the firewall. it's facing down with a shrink tubing around the bottom of it where the connector plugs into it.

This is the timer I hope. As you can see, it does have a nice manual fuel shutoff.
