Anyone besides me hate setting on vinyl. Anybody ever try those wood bead seat covers? What else easy is anyone using. I folded up a towel but too much hassle moves all over the place and the wind like to play with it when I get off.
Finally got my manual. So now I can begin servicing it. Are there cross over numbers for the oil filter? That would be dandy. Got a set of all the filters w/Kioti so that's kind a cool. The inner element of the air filter has a big dent in it but I can probably straighten it out with out tearing the membrane. Any reason not to try this if I check w/a light.

How is that done? I don't have anything with an exposed bulb to put inside the filter? I guess I meant what do you use for that. I could always make something I guess. Turned over to 157 today.

I never used any of those things on a tractor, but I started on the police department before they had air-conditioned cars, and I think all of us carried our own [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Arctic-Cool-Spring-Cushion-39-3236/dp/B0002JM69W]Cool Cushions[/ame] to use in the squad cars. I don't see why they wouldn't work on a tractor, too, though.

Well, Bird got me shopping over there.

How 'bout one of these Ron: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Roadpro-Heated-Cushion-Powerful-Massages/dp/B000Z42LWG/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1338410213&sr=1-4]Amazon.com: Roadpro 12V Heated Seat/Back Cushion with 5 Powerful Motors for Upper and Lower Back Massages Suede/Tan: Automotive[/ame]

... Wait a minute!... Isn't the tractor already vibrating PLENTY without one of these things tied into my electrical system!

And the heat feature... well, that's for winter use only.

One thing I have never needed is a heated seat in anything. I know a lot of vehicles offer such as an option, but I not only wouldn't pay extra for it, I'd probably pay extra, if I had to, to not have that.

Up here I might pay extra for a heated seat  I bought a used pick up that happened to have all the bells and whistles including heated leather seats. I said I didn't really care about all that and I would never use it. Now, you can call me a "sally" but after a day of hunting or fishing or just early morning winter drives that seat is awesome. Also if you have a tight lower back you can use is as a heating pad as you drive.

If I lived as far north as you do, I might like them, too. But not down here. I pretty rarely use the heater in my car and pickup, but I sure do use that air-conditioner.:D

I said i'd never have A/C but that sure has changed with the years piling up.

Wouldn't a recovering in fine leather be Kioti appropriate? :)

As for heated seats, we bought a 2001 Toyota Sequoia Limited shortly before moving here. Of course we joked what a waste having heated seats in Hawaii that maybe cooled would be more appropriate. WRONG. As we were building the house, can't tell you how many times the vehicle of choice to ride into town was those heated seats. Our tired, achy bodies sure appreciated it and still do. LOL just bought a new Tundra and driving home from the dealer I remarked to wife what a shame we would have had to get the whole Limited option just to get the heated seats.

On the AC side, a sort story. We rarely use the vehicle AC as we don't have in the house, just open the windows. Last year we had some visitors from hot and humid NJ. Wife took the crew into town to the farmers market and one of the ladies asked if the Sequoia had AC and did we ever use it. Naturally, my wife replied that all our vehicles have AC and at times we will turn it on for the dogs (we have 6 boxers). The next sound from the rear seat, "woof, woof". My wife turned on the AC.

THanks everyone, I appreciate the input. It might me nice in winter alright. But I'm fine out side all day if it's in the 20's as it often is here in N.M. I like the cold better than heat. I worked outside six days a week at 10k feet at a ski area. But that was a very active job sitting in a tractor seat is not quite the same. I'll keep that seat cusion in mind. Now let me see where the heck is Kioti's cigarette lighter! [;^)>
