I know this subject has been beat to death but I can't find anything through searching posts. Has anyone been able to use a king kutter box blade with Deeres Imatch without making any modifications?

Thanks for any help!

I use the KK 5' box blade and it mounts onto my iMatch just fine - what problem are you having?

Thanks! I don't have one yet I just want to make sure any implements I buy from now on work with the Imatch. I notice you have a rake also, is that a King Kutter that works with Imatch also?

Jim

Just measure the inside width of your iMatch - from the center of one lift pin hook to the center of the other. Then when you go implement shopping, get a center to center measurement on the lift pins. If they're within an inch of the iMatch width, you should be good to go.

Unfortunately the rake (I believe it is a KK - got it at TSC) does not fit the iMatch. The problem is the way the top hitch is designed doesn't allow the hook to slide up into it. The lower hitches fit fine so I am going to come up with a way to make the top link work (it's a huge PITA to have to remove the iMatch for the rake and install it for everything else).

I bought a floating toplink assembly from LandPride to resolve that issue Mike. I also got the long U-bracket they use as a floater on (some of) their mowers. It's basically just a box of nut/bolts/washers/bushings/brackets that I use in various combinations to make my QuickHitch top end connect with the duke's mixture of implement designs.

Would be nice one day - for quick hitch owners - if implement manufacturers would standardize their TPH geometry.

I have the Homier version of the quickhitch (Speeco makes it I believe) and a Corriher/Midwest Boxblade. The width is fine, but one the Midwest box blade the bottom mounting pins are too far back. The locking mechanism hits the frame mount before the hooks can grab the pin. Also the top link area isn't quite right but I think instead of hooking on the top link pin, It would hook up to another bolt that help holds it together. I am a bit hazy on the last part because I haven't fixed the bottom issue, so the top issue has been a bit moot at this time.

So to get to back to the subject, the width and height of pins on an implement might be perfect, but I wanted to say that there are a lot of other issues that can screw this up. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Good luck!

Have you tried any implements by Midwest? I am trying to buy a Midwest box blade and a rear blade but I can't seem to find anything green within the midwest. They are supposed to be Imatch compatible.
