I've had a KK 5' Standard Duty for the last 3 years. I mow about 15 ac marsh grass / heavy weeds twice a year for deer hunting. No problems whatsoever.

There are better, heavier-duty units out there, but at $459.99 I couldn't go wrong for my purposes.

I did remove the tail wheel though, as it always seemed to be in the way when mowing tight areas, and easily became clogged to the point of not turning with the marsh grass. The stuff I cut is 3-5ft tall on average.

I have a 72" and it works fine. I have hit hard fieldstones the size of volleyballs with it, and it has never failed me (chipped the blades and dented the mower slightly though). Sidewalls are very thick. My only issues with it are: 1) minimum cutting height is around 5" which is higher than most; 2) it windrows pretty bad.
It cuts brush and trees like they are nothing, but due to the flat blades it has little lift to suck up the grass/weeds that the tires rolls down.
Overall I'd say it is "good" and well worth the money for all around cutting needs. "Very Good" if you are not concerned with a quality cut.

The used 5' King Kutter that was my ol' 9N when I bought it I retired last year after nearly 20 years of abuse by myself. It still worked fine but it had a lot of rust and the second re-skinning was in bad shape. The biggest issue was the skid bell under the blades was pretty shot and I thought it best in the interest of safety to retire it. I got a new one, nearly identicle at TSC. I don't think that you can get a better buy for personal use.
