I have a KK RFM72 and wouldnt buy anything else! Had this one for about 4 years now. We've mowed some where in the area of 4500 acres with this mower. I've kept it greased daily and the only thing wrong is the bushings in the back wheels are warn out. I mow rain or shine and someplaces pools of standing water are present in low spots so it gets a work out and i show no mercy when it comes to mowing.
This machine doesnt bunch grass behind it unless its over 10" high and real wet. Does a great looking job.
The hitch is super, it is a floating hitch which allows the mower to follow ground contour. I really wasn't sure if i would like this kind of hitch when i first got the mower but after about 3 hours i was sold on it. One of the things i did change is I took the center lift chain off and replaced it with one lifting from each side, reason being, when the mower is up in transport mode it bounced around more than I wanted it to so I put the chain in each corner and it solved the issue. Your mower probably will not get the use that mine does that might not give you issue.
I paid $1200 4 years ago and if I was closer to this mower you are talking about I'de buy it in a heartbeat! By the way I am no way affiliated with the KK Company other than an extremely happy owner. . . John
