This spring I rebuilt one of the bearing housings for the blades on my King Kutter 60" finish mower. I would have replaced it as an assembly but for the $100 price tag on the assembly. I put new bearings in it and replaced the 133x5/8ths belt.
Slightly better than a month later and after re-greasing, it shagged a belt. The same housing that I rebuilt was almost froze. The grease seals were not in the best shape so I greased it every time I used it.
Has anyone come across a more economical place to obtain a good blade bearing housing?
Thanks
