Rear Blade KingKutter Rear Blades at TSC

Picked up a KingKutter Rear Blade brochure at TSC this weekend. They list Professional and Heavy Duty type blades. Anyone familiar with either of these? Any info on prices? Can TSC special order these? I am interested in the 96" which is not available in their standard series.

I don't know about the 96" but the 7' (84") one is listed in the catalog @ $265.54. 96" can't be too much more. I have the 5' for mine and used it quite a bit last summer without any problem. A lot of folks here use them for snow removal too. I use my bucket and 3 pt. snowblower. Check Shanes post this forum, he has pics and prices of various blades.

Just looked in the catalog and the 8' pro blade # is 21-37073
7' is 21-37065. I called my local store for you. The 8' pro blade is $649.80 and the 7' is $594.19. Should be similar at your store.

I bought a 7' Professional rear blade for $550. great blade for the price, alot cheaper than frontier or woods blades. The heavy duty blades looked a bit too heavy (and expensive) for my use.

I have the 6ft blade by King Kutter, I bought it at TSC. It is a light duty blade, but does a good job of grading my driveway. I bought it specifically for that purpose, and didnt plan on doing any heavy work with it. I believe it was about $275 at the time.

I have a professional series 84" rear blade. I like it, works good for my uses.
I paid around $420 for it 2 or 3 years ago.
They have gone up in price since, don't know the current prices in my area.

Thanks to all who posted. I will go with the standard blade, I did not realize the Professional and Heavy Duty were so much higher in price.

I was at my local TSC this morning and glanced at the price on standard blades. 6'=$232 5'=$222. They did not have a 7' or 8' blade to look at.

Are you guys talking about a rear blade for the common box blade? If so your getting ripped. I bought a 5' 3 weeks ago at $65.00 tax included. Someone tell me I'm reading this wrong. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
