Oil & Fuel Kioti 3054 Hydraulic Fluid Level

I purchased a mid-1990's LK 3054 with loader. I have not gotten an operators manual yet. Steering wheel shaft is leaking hydraulic fluid & will need rebuilt. I found what appears to be hydraulic reservoir with redish, threaded plastic cap on the rear end. The shaft that lifts the 3 point hitch arms runs through this reservoir. There is no dipstick or fluid level indication. Fluid level is low.

Can anybody verify that this is for hydraulic fluid and what approximate level would be?

I am very impressed with this tractor.

You should look on the right side of the transmission case by your right heal when sitting in the seat. There should be a clear lens which has a white.background and red lines. Level oil in sight glass.

Yes you should be able to fill at rear.

Sorry, but that seems very wrong to me. The sight glass near my feet is on the left (not right) side of the transmission case directly under the bright red cap positioned between the shift lever and the 4WD selector lever that could only be the transmission fluid fill point. I have not yet found any sight glass or dip stick that seems associated with the hydraulic fluid fill point above the PTO, if you find one I would very much like to know, I can stick my finger all the way down the hydraulic fill port and come up dry, and I can't find any way to check the hydraulic level.
