Was wondering if my front and rear pedals are correct. They go down at least a third before i get any responce foward or back. Thanks

On The DKse models, there are adjustment rod links underneath the deck, connecting the pedal to its respective valve. Those linkages can be adjusted to reduce/increase the effective distance of the pedal. I would imagine your 4510 would be similar. Be careful however, if adjusted to much, the tractor may drive ahead/reverse as soon as she's running and in gear.

I think I have around 1/4 pedal travel distance of free play?

To be safe, and by the book, call the dealer and ask what the measurements for your specific tractors HST pedal adjustment rods should be. There will be a picture in the workshop manual showing the pedals, links, stoppers and the distances in mm for which they should be adjusted to. Just ask for a printout of that page.

The NX has the pedals linked to a sensor that sends a signal to the ECM. As long as you can get full speed out of it, it is just the normal electronic lag you have. Make sure the speed adjustment for the pedals is turned up.

If you have an FEL make sure there is no interference with the pedal travel and hydraulic lines for the loader. If there is interference it can make it feel that you need to press more on the pedals than otherwise would be necessary.

Also check to see whether the HST Response Control is set to "slow" and adjust to your preference.

There is a HST pedal calibration procedure but this might better be left to the dealer to accomplish if you continue to have problems.
