kioti back hoe 2385 leaking fluid

kioti 2385 backhoe leaking fluid from all sides of the valve body anyone else with this problem. is it a hard fix?

I don't have a Kioti BH but I have had valve leaks at hose connections on my backhoe. Simple O Ring replacement was all it took.

I took the cover off and it's loaded with hoses and plugs .i am thinking that I could take it apart and change the seals but worried that parts are going to fly when I loosen the bolts. Disaster in the making.

My 2485 showed up leaking so the dealer sent a guy to fix it. First thing he did was to lay a large cloth under the hoe to catch any falling parts. Sure enough, he dropped two "O" rings during the process.

You should be fine. First, clean the valve and determine exactly where it is leaking. No sense in taking anything unnecessary apart. Make sure you have relieved any hydraulic pressure and just go slow when unscrewing parts. I have taken several different types of valves apart and always try to put pressure back on whatever I am unscrewing.....that way when you reach the end of the thread, anything under spring pressure will release slowly. The only other thing is to pay attention to the order that any multiple piece part comes apart. I've never had a problem and most parts are not under pressure anyway, just good to go slow and be careful.
