Kioti CK 30 v/s kubota L2800

I am looking at comparing these two tractors . I will admit I have not seen either models yet . Over the phone I was quoted $14900 for CK30, fel,r4 tires. I was quoted $14900 for the same thing in L2800. What is differince in these two machines ? One dealer said they were comparable the other did not know. I don't have either tractor so I can't be accused of being biased. I went to each brands web site and compared the 2 models, both in HST.

The Kioti is a 30hp machine and the Kubota is 24hp.

The Kioti's 3 point capacity is rated at 1764lbs and the Kubota is 1435lbs.

The Kioti's weight is 3005lbs and the Kubota is 2600lbs.

Both tractors have dual hydraulic pumps, one main pump and one for power steering.

Kioti's total pump output is 12.7 gpm and Kubota's in 10.5 gpm.

It appears for the price that you get more tractor for the money with the Kioti.

Like I said, I don't have either one, I have a Deere, but I looked at the Kioti's at the Louisville show and I couldn't find anything I didn't like about them.

Well, unlike Brent, who doesn't own either brand, I own a Kubota so I might be biased. Take my answer with a grain of salt. Buy the Kioti. And it is terribly sad that one dealer didn't even know what was a comparable tractor to his own, and it is even sadder that the other dealer told you the two tractors are comparable, they are not. Given the pricing, the Kioti is a far better deal. Given the HP and all other specs, the Kioti is a far better deal.

And in real terms, the Kubota dealer is over priced anyway, he is not offering you any deal on that L2800. The L3130 gear version is running just right under $16,000 at competitive Kubota dealers, the L2800 is one of value priced Kubotas and while the L3130 is fully featured. There is no way the L2800 should be priced at at only $1000 less than the vastly superior, larger, stronger, fully featured L3130.

Check your numbers. The Kubota is 29HP gross / 24HP PTO. The Kioti is 30HP gross / 24HP PTO.
Still, the other numbers seem to give the "bang for the buck" advantage to Kioti.
