Just below my hst pedal is a rotateing knuckle, the knuckle has a piece of steel that comes off the bottom that allows front to rear pivoting which links to the hydros for forward and reverse. I was lubricateing the linkage as the tractor wanted to continue forward or reverse rather then returning to neutral. In the process of working the pedal back and forth by hand, the piece of flat stock on the bottom of that knuckle broke off! Now the pedal will flow freely front to back. I need my tractor! It looks like I might be able to weld this piece if I can get it apart. It looks like a cotter pin holds it on the bottom, but I can not tell how to separate it at the knuckle below the hst pedal? Help, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
It seems at just over 200 hours the tractor is going to heck. The loader joystick broke at one of the cheap plastic detent balls. it works but the lever just flops forward and to the side. The rear hydro control will not stay in the forward or rear position, so I doubt it is a detent as what is the likelyhood of both going at the same time, so I don't have a clue what it is. I really don't have time for down time until December and this latest problem is killing me.
