I've heard a bunch of story of how if you put the oil in the top you can lock up the engine for a while I guess its because they pour it to fast can someone please tell me how put the engine oil in the right way and how much, I've heard about 3 quarts but don't know if thats true so any help would be great ,got the oil and the filter just need to know how to fill it the right way where it won't lock up or mess up any thing.

Welcome to TBN.
On my CK 27 there is an orange plug near the injection pump and that is where I put the oil into the motor.

I had this problem a year ago. It is documented in the Kioti section. Dealer said it was a bad injector that caused the engine to do a brief lockup. I used the top fill port to add my oil..... i still think i filled to fast and the oil went into the #3 cylinder. After research and advice from TBN viewers i found the proper place to fill oil...its right beside the fuel filter and injector pump. Its a small orange cap that comes off. This lets the oil go straight to the oil pan.... It was a $3900 repair bill as it bent the #3 rod and cylinder needed to be rebuilt. Kioti came through and paid $3000 under the warranty !! I spent $900 on new fuel injectors as the tractor was already apart go ahead and change the other 2 out. Tractor runs great...i like my Kioti !!

Well I couldn't find the plug on my tractor so i went ahead and filled it using the dip stick tube took a little bit longer but its better than replacing a bunch of costly parts and with a hand pump and a small hose wasn't as bad as if i had to use a tube and funnel, i wish there was a plug on mine but i looked for 45 min. still couldn't find it any way at least its done. Now for the fun part building a big sun shade so my bald head don't get burnt.. thanks guys
