I have a 2615hst with a 72"mmm. No problems, I highly recommed the combo, expecially the hst. I used to mow with a 8N and a 72" rmfm. It took near 4 hrs to mow, with the 2615 it takes about 2.
As far as being underpowered, the only time it has bogged is when I was making the first cut on st. augustine last August. We had an large amount of rain ad it was the first time it was dry enough to get on it. It is a very thick lush grass that was near 2ft tall. I was trying to take it down to 2" in one cut. The deck couldn't discharge the grass fast enough and it bogged. Raised the deck to take the first cut down to 4" then the second to 2". Still like bailing hay but it did it.
Thanks that is good to hear. I have compared soooo many tractors and I keep coming back to the Mahindra. I still haven't decided yet, but when I compare apples to apples the Mahindra seems to keep coming to the top I have yet to sit on one. Going to a PowerShow in Columbus, OH. This Saturday.
I too compared and compared, but TEST DRIVING different brands and models is just as important as comparing specifications. My advice is to not leave out the test driving (operating) comparision.
