Hi all, I'm at 27 hours and will be at the 50 hr service in no time. Some observations and questions on maintenance. I've gone around torquing the wheel bolts and nuts, the ROPS bolts and loader bolts. The loader bolts are 22mm 10.9 and the nearest I can figure it's torque value is over 540 ft lbs plus. I noticed a majority of bolts turned a 1/4 or more before my wrench clicked with the wrench set to 190 ft lbs, and it was all I could do to get that click. Is there any dealer information on the minimum torque on the loader bolts? I can't imagine torquing to over 540 ft lbs.
The ROPS are 19mm, DS 7.T. bolts. This is where the 190 ft lbs came from. It's an extrapolation from 14, 16 and 18 mm bolts at grade 7. Again many of the ROPS bolts turned a 1/4 or more before the click. Since I did this before the loader bolts, I figured I'd hear a click way before any turning. Am I reading torque values for metric bolts wrong?
Reading the 50 hr service, the manual calls for new hydraulic filters but indicates the fluid does not need to be changed out until 400 hrs. I imagine this means only topping your fluid to replace what is lost in the filters. Correct?
Thanks for your help. This is a great community. Ken
