Thanks for all the responses and good advice. I do plan on driving the CK30 before I make a purchase.
I really didn't think the two machines were so different. If you look at the spec sheet, they are both about the same physical size, with the CK being about 1" wider and just a little longer. I guess the bigger rear tires on the CK makes it a little taller as well. The big difference I say between the two was the weight and the extras on the CK.
As far as used tractors go, I would be more than happy to find a nice used tractor. In my area, used tractors of this size sell within $1000 of new ones.... I think that makes new a no brainer......
As far as knowing what I need, heck, I need a mower more than anything. The driveway is a mature one that only needs gravels spread a couple times a year. I am sure I will find many needs for the tractor after I get it, but mainly for mowing. I don't want to buy a zero turn, or dedicated mower for a couple reasons. Even though it is only a couple times a year, I want to take care of my driveway when I want too and not depend on getting someone to do it, it does snow here some and I want to be able to clear the driveway as well, and plus a tractor is just plan more fun than a mower.....
Anything I get will fit my needs better than the BIG Ford that I had and feel like an ant compared to it!!!!!
Thanks again..... Any more info is welcome.....
