Kioti CK30 Won't Shift to FWD

My CK30 has been getting locked/jammed up in Rev. for a week or so. Sometimes I have to drive in REV a minute and it will Free up and allow me to FWD shift. From what I have been reading, it seems like the Shuttle shift fork might be bent. I have an exploded view of the Trans body and looks easy enough to explore thru the side panel of the transmission where the shuttle shift rod goes into the unit..
Has anyone had any hands on experience doing this and are they any potential "booby Traps" to watch out for.

Spend a bit of time on You Tube seeking information on that model. I am constantly amazed at how much good information people are willing to share in video form..

I tore into the side cover of mid trans and I did fix the shifter issue, and found a small boobytrap. The pesky spring loaded ball that flies out when you slide the shaft out. Got it back in with a handmade press and clamp. However, I found that the shifter synchronizers are worn out and I can replace them myself, but I'm not crazy about the idea of pulling apart the tractor in the middle and sliding the front and rear apart due to the weight of it all.
I will post pics of the shifter fix in a day or two.

So was it the shifter synchronizers being worn that was the issue, or something else?

If you're going to pull the tractor in half, you need a buddy!....with a tractor.

looking at the exploded diagram would you not be able to take the screw (numbered 11 in diagram) above the shaft out to remove and replace the spring and ball for the detent?
