Thanks for the reply.
I'm planning on running my DK 35 for several more years.
But it would be nice to trade for a new machine in the future. Right now I'm just weighing my options

Hah! He's on the slippery slope of tractorupgraditis! "It would be nice to trade" are words spoken only by those ready to do it My advice is 1) don't test drive the DK40se until your wife approves or you will be miserable. 2) Confess your thoughts to your CFO so she puts the brakes on while there is still a chance of cure. 3) in an emergency just get one and bring it home. The 72 inch bucket makes a fine bed. Hope you have a heated garage.

There's a cure? :confused3:

Not exactly a cure but a good CFO can delay disease progression for a while.

Agreed. But is the delay a good thing? Sort of just delaying the inevitable. I suppose it is what it is and usually works out for the best.

Guys,
There is an official name for this disease. My wife, who is a registered nurse, looked it up since I started showing symptoms nearly 2 & 1/2 years ago. It is called "DK40workplayitis." Symptoms start out with constant thoughts of a DK40, how nice it looks, where is a dealer, when can I go sit on one and test drive it, constant internet searching on the Kioti website as well as Tractor***** and tractor forums like this to see what everyone else is saying about them.

Then it really starts to get worse when the person afflicted w/ this disease actually schemes to make their way to the dealer. If there is no intervention at this point, then that person is in serious jeopardy. If there is no intervention and actual contact takes place b/w the person and the DK40, the disease will spread at lightning speed and it is clinically over for that person!!!:cool2:

I am now 7 months into what is called DK40 therapy. In order to enter into therapy, one must actually acquire a DK40 & I have one in my garage and so far, I'm coping fairly well. However, I have now been exposed to attachmentitis so I am actively pursuing treatment & therapy for this new illness.

Sounds like many of us have been contaminated with these diseases or variations thereof??!!

Jacobsdaddy...good luck on your decision, just post some pics when get it home!!!! (Please)

I am into my 9th month of treatment for "DK45workplayitis." It has been great so far! I am still showing signs of "DK90workplayitis" :D. I can see this being a several year case involving visiting dealers and farm machinery shows to cure. Oh well, it's the journey that makes it fun!
MY "itus" started at 2008 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville Ky. My soon to be dealer caught me looking at one at the show and took this picture which he later gave to me. He knew I had the bug! So be careful for who is watching when you are lookin!
