Trying to understand why the SE cost more than the standard 3510 can anyone here help?

Looks like the SE has independent PTO but less HP to PTO as a new buyer is that good or bad?

There may be other feature differences but have yet to get a straight answer from a couple of dealers.

The tractors are the same. I don’t know why it shows different PTO hp. The difference is packaged “options”. The SE has:
2 rear remotes
Extendable link arms with quick adjust sway control
Rubber floor mat
Cruise control
Linked Pedals
Nicer seat
Tilt wheel

I chose the SE and added a Kioti third function kit.

The SE has rear view mirrors.

The SE HST does not have a clutch.

I bought the SE and found I do not use the cruise at all. I love the extendable links and quickadjust sway - I am not even sure I want/need a quick hitch because of that (and the fact I have to connect pto for tiller, shredder etc). I am about to buy hydraulic top link so will be using at least one remote. The floor mat is nice but it is a tractor after all. The better seat with armrests is fantastic in bumpy clay. The electronic pto is smooth and although I have never operated a manual pto, the SE version is forgiving and easy to work. I do not use the mirrors, tilt, or cruise.

So was it worth it to spend $1800 more for an SE to get a better seat, electronic pto, Remote for top link, and extendable links? Easy money in my book. I know you can add only those you want but with an SE they all come from the factory so there are no issues with engineering, installation, warranty vs dealer add, etc.

Can稚 explain the published HP differences. I bought mine last year and did extensive research and I guarantee last year痴 specs were identical (SE hst vs plain hst were identical and SE manual vs plain manual were identical and about 1.8hp higher than hst)

Going to 2nd (or 3rd) all the previous posts. Their info. is correct. PTO Hp should be exactly the same UNLESS the non-clutch SE possibly creates some additional driveline power loss. I am not well trained enough in this area.

I tried both the SE and standard and ending up buying the CK3510 HST (non SE). like others have mentioned, I did not want mirrors, cruise, linked pedal, or tilt wheel...I keep myself in good shape and the room on the operator platform w/o the tilt wheel is already ginormous. I also prefer Pat's EZ change over the extendable links.

To my CK3510 HST (Non SE), I added the OEM floor mat, dealer installed OEM 2 rear remotes, dealer installed OEM 3rd function, dealer filled rears. All of those add on's for a before tax total of $20,949. Yeah, I suspect most of us could go out and buy a couple of these,...and pay cash. but most of us like the idea of a good deal too.

It depends on what you prefer so evaluate what is important to you. If you need/want those items, a better seat, etc. the SE is for you.

It is all bout getting what you want, not what others think you need. Enjoy your tractor.
