Kioti CS2520 PTO stops when off the seat

Hello i am new here, hope to get some help.
I have a rototiller that works great when i am in the seat.
I have a 2020 Kioti 2520 model and I just received my new WC46 wood chipper from Woodland Mills.
Set up the wood chipper and it works great when I am on the tractor seat, as soon as i lift my but it shuts off the PTO.
I set the parking brake, have it in neutral gear, PTO on rear only.
Any ideas?

Is it just the tiller that does this??

Might need to adjust the safety switch(s). Does the parking brake light come on when you set it?

Try putting it in neutral, set the parking brake, get out of the seat, then engage the PTO. Sometimes that sequence works.

Worked on this for most of the morning. After listening and reading posts, i tried the parking brake in many sequences, I tried lifting the seat in case of motion control, i tried disabling the pop in seat sensor.
The seat sensor is definitely the issue. I jumpered the sensor with some wire and taped it back together and this worked. However i dropped the sensor spring somewhere so eventually i have to fix that now too. I am going to see if i can add a switch like a light switch for example so i can toggle the switch to bypass the seat on demand.

Did you try reading the manual?
Every one I have seen tells you how to work the PTO in or out of the seat.

Pretty sure all you did was bypass the seat safety, not fix the issue.

Don't get on the seat at all. Start the tractor standing next to it and see if the PTO works. I know my tractor works that way.

Need to have a butt in the seat and foot on the brake to start. At least on the newer CKs

OP, your parking brake switch is most likely misadjusted. Thats the part I have the most trouble with as sometimes the brake will be set, but the switch says 'naww..'

You also need to hold the parking lever in the up position until you fully lift your foot off the brake for it to actually set.

Yes, Kioti ck series have a pto override. Just went out and confirmed you need to set the pto mode to automatic, not manual (switch below steering wheel). Then, as expected, set the brake, set hydrosatic to neutral, get out of the seat, and switch on the pto!
