The main relief is on the priority valve on my Kioti but not sure on the DK35. However, that relief is normally not easily adjusted. The loader relief is.
No problem adjusting the loader relief. I can adjust psi up and down but i get a max of 1900 psi on my gauge. I figure the main relief is set at 1900psi, so that's the max I'll see at my loader. I want to adjust that main relief, but I can't find it.
I was checking the service manual for the DK35SE (not sure what the "SE" changes exactly) and it does say that the loader valve relief valve is set to 2600 PSI and it also doesn't show anywhere a main pressure relief valve.
Anyway, it should be easy to trace. Just follow the line from the main pump, not steering one, and see where it goes. That will indicate the first relief valve in the system.
Yes, tracing the lines from the pump should work, but I can't find that either. My guess is that it's under the seat platform, but my DK35 does not have a removable seat platform plate - it's a major deconstruction to get the seat platform off. If someone knows where the pump is located, or where that main relief is located, then I might be able to get to one or the other without the deconstruction.
Well, the pumps are attached to the engine since that's what powers them, so I would start there. It's actually a tandem pump.
Don't get me wrong, but I'm not sure if it's good idea mess with any of the pressures without understanding the basic components and how an hydraulic system works. That how stuff gets damaged.
Using Michigan Iron Equip parts catalog, looks like there is indeed an hydraulic block after the main pump. From there, it should feed the loader valve.
