I have a 2010 Kioti DS 4110 tractor with 302 hrs on it was using finish mower and the pto started slipping, not impressed, has anyone else had this problem with this type of pto on this tractor?

The finish mower's belts might be slipping, Have you checked them?

If this has a electric clutch you might check for loose, Torn or bare wires at or in the clutches area.

Maybe a bad switch. That would be my first guess.

My DK has a three pos'n switch for elect PTO, On/Off/Auto. Does your's have this feature and does it slip in both modes? I think Auto is linked to draft lever position so if lever switch is activated, (i.e. implement raised, pto is stopped).

If your unit is out of warranty do the following: Check the fuses. Next disconnect mower check for rotation of shaft. If shaft rotates you will have to check pressures. If it does not check wires then disconnect plug and check solenoid for continuity. Past this you will need a service manual or take to dealer.

Sounds like the PTO clutch is slipping. How much free play do you have in the clutch pedal? It should be about 1". It is possible that the pedal is out of adjustment causing the clutch disc to slip. If the pedal is adjusted propery then it sounds like clutch replacement. Hope I you are still under warranty. Good luck.
