Kioti DS4110 won't start after refuel

I HAVE A DS4110--2011--HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. STARTS SOMETIMES AND THEN WON'T. SOMETIMES TURN KEY 6 0R 8 TIMES AND IT WILL START OR NOT. THE PROBLEM WAS A BAD CONNECTION WITH A SAFETY SWITCH--CLUTCH SWITCH. I UNDERSTAND KIOTI HAD SOME BAD IGNITION SWITCHES AROUND THAT VINTAGE ALSO. WHEN IT WOULDN'T START, I WOULD JUMP IT AT THE STARTER WITH KEY ON AND IT WOULD START. HOPE THAT HELPS.

Thanks for all of the additional suggestions. I finally got to get back out to it today. Turns out that @Snezzy had the right idea.

I checked the connector at the solenoid and it appeared to be good: one lead had constant 12v when the key is on and the other had a 12v burst for one second when the key is turned on, but the solenoid still didn't pull. A replacement solenoid also didn't pull. I then found a post from a guy saying he had a bad pull relay but could get around it by removing the solenoid, turning the key, pushing in the plunger, making sure it held, and then reinstalling it before starting. I tested those steps up to seeing if the plunger remained pulled. Bingo.

I located the relay (thank you workshop manual) and noticed that I could push the connector onto the relay an additional 1/8"-1/4". It then successfully pulled several key turns in a row and started right up when tried. I'm really thinking I've gotten this nailed down at this point and I will be getting a new relay to keep on hand in case this one gives out completely.

Turns out if I had slowed down and fully read this post, I would’ve/could’ve gotten here sooner.
