Kioti exhaust problem w/FEL

I just bought a 2003 LB1914 Kioti with 96 hours on it.

The lady I got it from did not change anything so everything is as the dealer set it up.
It has a Kioti FEL and the tractor was pressure washed before I got it, so it was clean.

A couple hours of operating it hit me with one thing. The exhaust turned to the outside of the tractor blows on the arm of the FEL and right onto the hydrolic lines! This looks like a recipe for a problem.

Turning the end pipe up insures that I constantly get a face full of diesel every time I move forward. If I turn it down, it blows on a lower frame.

What did Kioti intend to do with the exhaust with the FEL installed? Was a different end pipe upgrade left off? I would suspect the end pipe on the muffler should have a crook in it and exhaust down. Or a protection plate on the frame and hydrolic lines were left off.

my exhaust has caused my loader arms to turn black after 2 years and over 300 hours. No problem for me, but I am unsure of any danger in your particular model. I also don't "wash" my tractor. I do periodically hose it off after it gets too muddy for safety.

The exhaust coming out of the pipe is not that hot so I would not worry about the hydraulic lines. My CK20 does leave a little black soot on the loader arm that I power wash off every 20-30 hours or so but that is hardly a problem.

Mine was doing the same thing. I just rotated the muffler up 90 degrees. it keeps the exhaust from blowing dirt into the air filter. You can do a search for LB1914 tractors and see a picture of one with the muffler turned up.

my '94 lb1914 muffler goes straight up with a kl102 loader. the flange with 4 bolts appears to be so that it could be turned 90 degrees as others said.
