Any Kioti owners out there using a kioti(rear discharge type) 60 or 72" finish mower? I am looking at Kioti,Woods,Befco,Kingcutter,1st choice, etc. to go with my new tractor. Give me your pros or cons.
I have a 60" rear discharge Kioti RFM. It works very well, lots of easily accessible grease fittings and everything
seems to be well made. Plus, it matches my Kioti tractor. Can't beat that.
Ok here is what I found on my lunch hr today. I've looked at a new Kioti & the 1st Choice & can't see any difference between them & they both have the same color paint
& a made in Italy sticker placed at the very same location. Good thing is 1st Choice 60" is cheaper over Kioti buy by about $110 at a cost of $1285. Is this a good price or not? 72" is $1385.
I paid 999.00 plus 50.00 shipping for a First Choice 60" RFM. Was shipped 1272 miles for fifty bucks. Unknown where your location is from North Carolina, where I ordered mine (Carver Equipment).
To me the Kioti mower looks identical to my Landpride mower. If I didn't already have the 84" rear discharge Landpride, I would have bought the Kioti version.
I was told by a dealer that First Choice and Kioti rear finish mowers are the same
It is my understanding that "Midwest Equipment" manufactures mowers for "Kioti". "Midwest" used to manufacture for "First Choice" also. "Midwest Equipment" no longer manufactures equipment for "First Choice" however they are under contract to manufacture mowers for "Kioti". Thus the correlation that "First Choice" and "Kioti" rear finish mowers are the same - or - were the same at one time, are not necessarily the same now. Clear as mud....
