Working on a diverter for A Kioti CK3510SE. Initially though the loader fittings were JIS, and bought the required ($$) adapters, which function like the left image:

Took a few fittings off yesterday and found that it is actually BSPP. Essentially the same threads as JIS, but the male fittings have an internal 30-degree cone, like the right image above.

I can see how this seals (in an *** backwards way compared to most fittings). But now I'm shopping for adapters to go from 3/8 BSPP Male on the loader to the JIC 6 female swivel on the new hoses. The adapters do not have the 30-degree cone inside the female fittings

so how the heck does that seal? No cone face, no o-ring, no taper. Am I looking for a unicorn fitting? or can I just use teh Femal JIS fitting I already have? Threads are the same, but with 2500 PSI in the system I want it to seal!

I think you need P/N 9240-06-06 from Discount Hydraulic Hose.
in picture left side is JIC, right BSPP Picture from DHH would not copy, OOPS!

That's the one. Not sure why I wasn't finding it this morning. Guess I get to place another order. Might just go with a custom hose.

I would not go custom hose. I would want something I could get fast/local in event of breakdown.

If your loader is like my loader, you may find German metric on your loader as yet another curveball if you plumb into the hardlines.

FWIW, when I made my third function I went to a jobber-shop to have the custom hoses made so I didn't need all of the funky adapters to use NPT or JIC hoses found at the Fleet store.

A BSPP female swivel hose crimp in 14mm or 16mm should be on the shelf at any well stocked retailer that makes hydraulic hose.

I sure hope there's no German! So far I'm pretty confident Iknow what I need. Just wish there was a local source to grab a few and try, I stopped at the auto store that makes hoses, and while they have them in their book they don't have any on hand.

Tractor Supply only stocks NPT around here, and trying to stay away from those. I figure if I can get a durable fitting and cut over to JIC, if I blow a hose I can get one made locally or worst order one. After this adventure, if I need a stock hose the dealer may be the best option!

1). Not many local options, see above
2). BSPP is not a metric thread

Correct, it is not metric, sorry for the error. But BSPP is becoming more common in the world market we live in. Availability varies.
