This is my first winter with my new Kioti LK30, and with the 24 inches of snow we got this weekend, it was perfect for the job.

Most I have ever seen in my 49 years, and that's alot of snow on a 1/2 mile driveway.

Do I see chains on your rear tires? All the talk about chains on here has me thinking......

Speaking of a lot of snow, here's some pics from my Kioti in the 22" storm we got last year up here in NH.

No chains, wish I had them I'm on a pretty steep hill. It wouldnt pull up but I turned around and backed up the hill. Chains on the rear would make a big difference. On the level I would not have had to have any.

Thanks. That's definitely a lot of snow! My drive is mostly flat, so I think I'll wait on the chains until after our first good storm.:)

Hey VW,

It sure makes it much more fun, doesn't it?

You'll want a snow blade and a blower next.

Were you backing into a snow bank, or did you use your backhoe to make a snow fort?

Cheers (and currently looking at more green grass than white snow here),

Jon

I don't know about West Virginia, but we got the same 24 inches here in the DC area. It has been a week since it fell and it's just about all gone except for a few spots where it was mounded up. Chances of getting another one that big in the next few months is pretty darn slim. It was a 50 year storm.
I tried to use the DK45 to move it, but by the time I got to it (day three) it was already wet and heavy with melting. Ended up having to just push it like dirt with the scraper blade. Oh well, even with the Snowstorm of the Decade we still can't have as much fun as you guys up north.
