Kioti Kab or upgrade to DK35

Hi everyone, i'm presently trying to figure whether i install a kioti cab on my CK30 gear, or i trade in my ck30 for a DK35 hst with oem cab. From where i am the cab is around 8000 installed, and if i trade in my CK30 for the DK35 it's around 13000$ i have to shell out:confused2: The tractor is mainly used for snowplowing driveways. I also have a DK45SE hst with cab which is mainly on snow duty, but i need another tractor on snow duty for next year. Any advice is more than welcomed.:thumbsup:

I'm not sure what type or brand of cab you're looking for but here's some for $2746 to 4895. Just a thought unless you need a slightly heavier tractor. I believe some members have installed these themselves without much trouble and saved some money.

The kioti oem dealer installed cab, looks like the tractor came with it from the start. I know there are less expensive after market cabs, but it remains an aftermarket add on. Don't get me wrong, some aftermarket cabs are well made, but don't look as good.

I would try to sell yourself vs trade in. Dealer is never going to give you any where near retail for it. Then go back and negotiate a better deal with cash in hand. I'm in eastern Ontario and got a cash quote on a DK40SE with cab/loader with SSQA and 1 rear remote for $26k even.

Also $8k for the cab installed seems like they are quoting you MSRP on the cab. Have you tried more than one dealer? There is a dealer here that sells full glass cabs for $2500 (installation would be extra). They are South Korean or Chinese made, not sure.

Thanks Greg9504 for the info. This is a nice cab, but are for the foton tractors, don't know if it would fit, but if you look at the price, well you can't get everything for that price. The 2 quotes i got for the cab are nearly the same, 7600$ and 8000$ installed. I could save a good 800-1000$ by installing it myself, but i lack the time. DK35SE HST with cab, 2 rear remotes, KL351, 24775$cnd, +2000$ for DK40. I could try and sell my tractor myself, but with the free loader promotion, it's easier to buy new than used.

How did you make out on this, did you get the cab or a new tractor? I've been considering the same thing for my CK 30.

I have bought a KB2475 backhoe for the CK30, and i am presently building my own cab. I would have like to upgrade, but 2 things stopped me;:confused2: first I would've had to wait for my BH another year or so, a tractor is fun, but better with lots of implements:laughing:, secound the garage door is 7.5 feet, so maintenance would have been done outside
