My Kioti is well taken care of, fresh oil and maintenance. I have years of trouble free service until now. It has 450 hours.
The unit just died, like the kill switch was pulled, and all electrical shut down.
I couldn't restart it, no power to switch. The positive battery clamp was cracked.
I replace both battery cables.
It will turn slowly and stop, like a drained battery. Jumping the battery did no good. All connections were good & battery fully charged.
Removed & had starter checked, which was good.
Local mechanic claims the bearing seized because he tried to move flywheel with screwdriver and it won't move.
I know anything is possible, but is it common?
Anyone there that will rebuild Daedong TD950?
Any ideas how to confirm bearing locked up engine?
