what is the rear lift capacity for an LB1914 if I attach a 3 pt hay bail spear to the rear? should it be able to lift 500 lbs? what is the front loader capacity?

I am thinking 500 should be easy, if it is some inches behind the pivot. My B6000E kubota, little bitty machine can handle 700lbs.

Key will be how far back behind machine will the weight be that you are lifting. I have no experience with hay, just rocks, more rocks and more rocks. Come to think of it, want to buy some rocks???

Good luck,
Joel

I looked on Tractordata.com, and it says you're rated for 1323 lbs. I would imagine that's at the lift eyes. So your lift capacity 24 inches behind the eyes would be around 925 lbs (70% of 1323). Another 24 inches behind that would be about 650lbs, (70% of 925). You shouldn't have any problem at all lifting a 500lb bale.

If by chance that lift capacity of 1323lbs is rated 24 inches behind the eyes, you have WAY more than enough capacity for a 500lb bale.

I believe it is ~1300 pounds at 24 inches behind the eyes with using the holes closer to the eyes to connect the links to the lift arms and ~1000 at 24 inches using the near holes. With the first set up I mentioned you have less range of motion. I can confirm that mine will lift 12 rounds each over 100 pounds on a wooden platform on top of a carry all. That's proabably 1,300 - 1,500 at 20 inches back.

This isn't the load I was talking about but probably weighed as much.

My owners manual also says 1000 and it says "at the lift point" or something close to that. The manual I have was printed before they had ROPS and has several discrepensies with the specs on Kioti's site. My tractor is a 2004 model and know from experience that the 1323 pounds 24" behind the end links (as listed on the web site) is approximately right with the linkage set up for maximum lift.

Below is the link to the specs on Kioti's web site says 1323 pounds "lift capacity, 24" aft of hitch"

I'm not sure if the older ones had less lift or if the manual is just conservative. The manual also says the tractor weights 1900 pounds and the web site says 2132 pounds. The manual says the pump is 5.1 gal / min and the web site says 6.0 gal / min.

Loader specifications are in this link. 1620 pounds break out, 850 pounds full lift, both at the pins.
