that's pretty much it. I'm looking at a Valve with BPS or NPT ports. My back hoe Model is KB 2376. I still don't know how to tell someone what kind of hose I need. I found out there is a guy 26 miles away who can make them up. The serial # of the hoe is ... I just noticed I have 2 dashes at the end of the number. They must not be readable on the ID plate. I wrote these down long ago.

The picture you show indicates the valve has BSP and NPT adapters are available.
