I twisted off the threaded end of the sector shaft, where the steering arm connects. In replacing that shaft, I apparently did not have the gear assembly at the bottom of the steering column aligned correctly, and managed to sheer off the bearing cage, and chip the bottom of the "gear piston". I am trying salvage yards online for either a full column, or just that piston at the bottom. So far no luck. Any suggestions?
