Kioti LK3054
I have an 2003 LK3054. I cannot find anything on the internet about this so hopefully I can get some guidance here. On the top of the engine, there is a hose that comes out and bends down and runs along the side of the tractor and drains down. I was brushhogging Sunday night, and parked the tractor in the garage. Last night when i got home from work, I noticed what looks like some oil that has drained from this hose. Any idea what this is from or any info on this? It was really warm out (around 90) when i was brushhogging and it was about an hour or so of work and the PTO was engaged if any of this matters. Any knowledge or info would be helpful. I have worked it before recently discing up a food plot and it didn't do this. Curious if this is normal or not.

Thanks!

That hose is a crankcase ventilation tube, evacuating crankcase pressure. I don't think there is any issue so long as it is not excessive; you probably worked it a little hard and in that heat would build a little pressure. I have an '04 and Kioti changed from the open vent to a closed system that funnels that crankcase pressure to the air intake manifold. Hope this helps
