kioti mechron light horn kit

anyone else installed the light and horn kit on the mechron, started installing tonight, pretty straight forward however I located the front lights at the front between the brush guard, factory installs on the rops, I felt this was the wrong location as we typically hold this area getting on or when on rough roads.

my issue is the horn, first where is the wire and second the location it wants in front of the radiator there is no bolt hole, then the brake switch, for the life of me there is no connector to hook it up, any ideas where its located on the harness, my dealer has never installed one

Did you ever find the horn wire? Everything else was fairly easy, but for the life of me can't find the wire to hook to the horn. I would think it would be fairly close to where the horn is mounted

hello, yes I found the horn wire, take the plastic cover behind the radiator off with the 2 Phillips screws, look about 6 inched below the left side, there is a frame member and the wire is tie wrapped to it, pain cutting the tie wrap and easy to find if you have a camera to look around, I used a self threading no12 screw to mount the horn in front of radiator, as for the wire its deceiving where its stored and comes out as 2 wires in plastic shield, the other must be a ground, if you need better information to find them I have the picture on the camera I could upload.

did you mount the front lights on the rops as instructions, tried them there and found always catching them getting on and off, finally mounted them to the brace that locates them behind the front bumper, if you have the spot light kit mounted there you may need to add a bracket

Thanks for the reply. I finally found it and all is good. No. I didn't mount the front lights...didn't seem like it would be a good fit. Might play with it later if I get really bored, maybe find a different location,but I'm fine without them. Just needed the horn to call my cows in. Again, thanks for the reply

i mounted my lights lower on the roll bar and they do not seem to hinder me there.
